Hope you are well & not too frantic (yeah right!) I did the Hearing impairment EA 2 day training with you in Cottesloe at WAIDE at the beginning of last term (followed by the online component) & have not yet received my certificate. This is just a reminder but if you have sent it please ignore this & thanks.
Sorry to bother you again as I know how busy you and Pip are but I was just checking on the certificates for last years Improving outcomes in Mainstream for Visually Impaired and the Teachers Aide support Course for Hearing impaired have been sent out yet or not.
This family are recently from Ireland (new settlers not sure if citizens? Residents?), so there was a question over whether or not this student was funded for an FM, it as been looked into I know that for certain. Her visiting teacher was trying to sort something out and so were the family. They are in contact with WAIDE and have wonderful support. I will not be with this student next year, but I understand the deputy together with the family are putting things in place and possibly a signing EA ? The student is very bright and learns very quickly. ....really enjoyed this course Trudi! Thank you for all your help! Best wishes Deanne.
Sorry have this habit of touching the wrong Key. Could you check on the six hour workshop for the Vision impaired on the 27th August as I was there but was late, I dont' think I signed on which would explain why I did not recerve the certificate. Sorry to bother you as I know your extremely busy as usual.Thankyou
The school I am employed at is mainly oral but Auslan is used as another form of communication and to clarify understanding.About half of the students acknowledge and use Auslan as a second language and proudly so I must say!
